When the disciples asked Jesus, 'Lord, teach us to pray,' He gave them the prayer we still pray today. The Lord's Prayer is a complete pattern: it begins with worship, then asks for the kingdom, then for bread, then for forgiveness, then for deliverance, and ends with a doxology. These flashcards break Matthew 6:9-13 into its individual petitions so you can memorize and meditate on each one. We have also included the often-missed verses that follow (Matthew 6:14) on the cost and necessity of forgiveness.
