What does the Bible say about expectations?

The Bible teaches that our ultimate expectation should rest in God (Psalm 62:5). His plans may differ from ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), but they are always good (Jeremiah 29:11). Scripture encourages patient waiting and trust in God's timing.

How do I deal with unmet expectations?

Bring them to God honestly, trust that His ways are higher (Isaiah 55:8-9), and shift your expectation from circumstances to God Himself (Psalm 62:5). Remember that God works all things for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
