Lesson 1 · Numbers 1:3 (KJV)

Study note. The Lord commanded Moses to number every male from twenty years old and upward.

Which tribe was not numbered among the children of Israel for war, being appointed over the tabernacle?
Answer: Levi
Study note. The Levites were appointed over the tabernacle of testimony and all its vessels.
Lesson 3 · Numbers 6:2 (KJV)
What was the specific vow of a man or woman who separated themselves unto the LORD?
Answer: The vow of a Nazarite
Study note. A Nazarite separated himself to the Lord and let the locks of his hair grow.
Lesson 4 · Numbers 11:31 (KJV)
What did the LORD provide for the people to eat when they complained about having only manna?
Answer: Quails
Study note. There went forth a wind from the LORD and brought quails from the sea.
Lesson 5 · Numbers 13:2 (KJV)
How many men were sent by Moses to spy out the land of Canaan?
Answer: Twelve
Study note. Moses sent one man from every tribe of their fathers to search the land.

Which two spies brought back a good report and encouraged the people to possess the land?
Answer: Joshua and Caleb
Study note. Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh stilled the people.
Lesson 7 · Numbers 17:8 (KJV)
What happened to the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi to prove his authority?
Answer: It budded and yielded almonds
Study note. The rod of Aaron was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms.

What did Moses do at Meribah that displeased the LORD, preventing him from entering the promised land?
Answer: He smote the rock twice with his rod
Study note. Moses lifted up his hand and with his rod he smote the rock twice.
Lesson 9 · Numbers 21:9 (KJV)
What did the LORD command Moses to make to heal those bitten by fiery serpents?
Answer: A serpent of brass
Study note. Moses made a serpent of brass and put it upon a pole for the people to look upon.
Lesson 10 · Numbers 22:28 (KJV)
Whose donkey spoke to him after seeing the angel of the LORD standing in the way?
Answer: Balaam
Study note. The LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done?
