Answer: Hebron
Study note. The men of Judah came and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah in Hebron.

Which son of Saul was made king over Israel by Abner after Saul's death?
Answer: Ishbosheth
Study note. Abner took Ishbosheth the son of Saul and made him king over all Israel.

What was the name of the man who was struck dead by God for touching the ark of the Lord?
Answer: Uzzah
Study note. Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, and God smote him there for his error.

Answer: Michal
Study note. Michal, Saul's daughter, looked through a window and saw king David leaping and dancing.

Answer: Nathan
Study note. The Lord sent Nathan unto David to rebuke him for his sin regarding Uriah.

Answer: Mephibosheth
Study note. David restored the land of Saul to Mephibosheth and allowed him to eat at his table.

Answer: Absalom
Study note. Absalom's head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the earth.

Answer: Joab
Study note. Joab took three darts in his hand and thrust them through the heart of Absalom.

Answer: The threshingfloor of Araunah the Jebusite
Study note. David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver and built an altar.
