Joy is listed as a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). Nehemiah 8:10 declares, 'The joy of the LORD is your strength.' Paul wrote from prison, 'Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice' (Philippians 4:4). Psalm 16:11 says, 'In thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.'
