Romans 8:17 declares, 'If children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.' The scope of this inheritance is staggering. Eternal life: 'That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life' (Titus 3:7). A heavenly kingdom: 'Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world' (Matthew 25:34).
