Several passages provide powerful assurance: Jesus said, 'I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand' (John 10:28). Romans 8:38-39 declares that nothing 'shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.' Ephesians 1:13-14 says believers are 'sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.' Philippians 1:6 affirms that God 'which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.'
