Every believer is gifted (1 Peter 4:10; 1 Corinthians 12). The first step is identifying your gifts — through Scripture study, honest self-examination, the counsel of mature believers, and experimentation. Pray for them, encourage them, follow their guidance unless Scripture forbids. Give generously of your time, talent, and money. Galatians 5:13 names the engine: love. Service done for show or for status quickly burns out; service done in love is sustainable for a lifetime.
