yeshuah — salvation, deliverance

Salvation in Scripture is rescue, deliverance, and wholeness. The Hebrew yeshuah is the noun that gives Jesus His name — 'Yahweh saves.' The Greek soteria gathers up the whole work of Christ: past justification, present sanctification, future glorification.
