A Prayer for Promises of God When Feeling Overwhelmed
Lord, I am overwhelmed. I cannot carry all of this on my own, and pretending I can has only worn me down further. Take these burdens from me — one by one if I cannot release them all at once. Give me rest where I have been restless, and clarity where I have been spinning. Help me focus on what truly matters today and to release what I cannot control. Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I, and let me find shelter there. In Jesus' name, Amen.
