What is the gospel?
Answer: The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for our sins according to the scriptures
Study note. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.

What does Romans say all have done?
Answer: All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

What is the gift of God?
Answer: Eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

How are we justified?
Answer: Freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus
Study note. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood.

What did Christ do while we were yet sinners?
Answer: He died for us
Study note. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

What must one do to be saved?
Answer: Confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead
Study note. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

What did Jesus say is the work of God?
Answer: This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent

Answer: By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

Whom did Jesus say He came to call?
Answer: Not the righteous, but sinners to repentance

What is the result of believing the gospel?
Answer: Ye are sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, and have an inheritance incorruptible
Study note. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
