Where did the people of Edom dwell, leading them to feel secure?
Answer: In the clefts of the rock
Study note. They dwelt in the 'clefts of the rock' and had a high habitation.
Lesson 4 · Obadiah 1:4 (KJV)
The Lord warns that even if they exalt themselves as which creature, He will bring them down?
Answer: An eagle
Study note. The Lord says, 'Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle.'
Lesson 5 · Obadiah 1:5 (KJV)
What would 'grapegatherers' leave behind that the destroyers of Edom would not?
Answer: Some gleaning grapes
Study note. Grapegatherers would leave 'some gleaning grapes,' but Edom's enemies would steal until they had enough.
Lesson 6 · Obadiah 1:6 (KJV)
Whose hidden things are sought out and searched?
Answer: Esau
Study note. The text asks, 'How are the things of Esau searched out!'
Lesson 7 · Obadiah 1:10 (KJV)
Edom was condemned for their violence against which of their brothers?
Answer: Jacob
Study note. Judgment came 'For thy violence against thy brother Jacob.'

What should Edom NOT have done on the day that their brother became a stranger?
Answer: Looked on their affliction

Answer: The day of the Lord
