      What did God create on the second day?

      Answer: The firmament / heaven

      Study note. Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters… and God called the firmament Heaven.

      What appeared on the third day?

      Answer: Dry land and vegetation

      Study note. God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear… Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree.

      What did God create on the fourth day?

      Answer: The stars, sun, and moon

      Study note. God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

    5. Lesson 5 · Genesis 1:20 (KJV)

      What filled the seas and the skies on the fifth day?

      Answer: Fish and birds

      Study note. Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth.

    6. Lesson 6 · Genesis 1:24 (KJV)

      What did God create on the sixth day?

      Answer: Land animals and man

      Study note. Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth… So God created man in his own image.

    7. Lesson 7 · Genesis 2:2 (KJV)

      What did God do on the seventh day?

      Answer: Rested and blessed it

      Study note. On the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work… and God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it.

      From what was man formed?

      Answer: The dust of the ground

      Study note. The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.

      Where did God place the man He had formed?

      Answer: Eden

      Study note. The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

      From what was woman formed?

      Answer: A rib from Adam

      Study note. The LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam… and took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh… and made he a woman.
