Which two mountains were designated for the pronouncing of blessings and cursings?
Answer: Gerizim and Ebal
Study note. The blessing was put upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

Lesson 9 · Deuteronomy 3:26 (KJV)

Answer: Because the LORD was wroth with him for the people's sakes
