Study note. Jabez prayed, 'Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast.'

Who died for his transgression because he asked counsel of one that had a familiar spirit?
Answer: Saul
Study note. Saul died for his unfaithfulness and for seeking a medium instead of the Lord.

What was the name of the stronghold of Zion that David took from the Jebusites?
Answer: The city of David
Study note. David took the castle of Zion, which is thereafter called the city of David.
Lesson 6 · 1 Chronicles 13:10 (KJV)
Why did the Lord smite Uzza while they were bringing up the ark of God?
Answer: He put forth his hand to hold the ark
Study note. The anger of the Lord was kindled because Uzza touched the ark when the oxen stumbled.

When David brought the ark to Jerusalem, what did Michal, Saul's daughter, do when she saw him dancing?
Answer: She despised him in her heart
Study note. Seeing King David dancing and playing, Michal despised him in her heart.
Lesson 8 · 1 Chronicles 17:12 (KJV)
What did the Lord tell David regarding the building of a house for His name?
Answer: David's son would build it
Study note. God declared that David's seed, who should come after him, would build the house.
Lesson 9 · 1 Chronicles 21:1 (KJV)
Who provoked David to number Israel, leading to a plague upon the land?
Answer: Satan
Study note. The text states that 'Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.'
Lesson 10 · 1 Chronicles 21:25 (KJV)
From whom did David buy the threshingfloor to build an altar to stay the plague?
Answer: Ornan the Jebusite
Study note. David purchased the place from Ornan for six hundred shekels of gold by weight.
