What "When Will the Rapture Happen?" Actually Means
The timing of the rapture in relation to the tribulation period is one of the most debated topics in eschatology. Pre-tribulationists believe the church will be caught up before the seven-year tribulation. Mid-tribulationists place it at the midpoint. Post-tribulationists believe the church goes through the tribulation. Despite disagreements on timing, all evangelical positions affirm that Jesus will bodily return, the dead in Christ will rise, and believers will be with the Lord forever.
