What "What Is the Judgment Seat of Christ?" Actually Means
The judgment seat of Christ (Greek: bema) is described in 2 Corinthians 5:10 and Romans 14:10. Unlike the Great White Throne judgment for unbelievers, the bema seat is for believers only. Works are tested by fire — gold, silver, and precious stones survive; wood, hay, and stubble are consumed. The believer is saved 'yet so as by fire' even if works are burned. Faithful service is rewarded with crowns.
