The Battle of Jericho (Joshua 6) was the first major conquest in the Promised Land and demonstrated that victory comes from God, not military might. God commanded the Israelites to march around the city once daily for six days with priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant and blowing trumpets. On the seventh day, they marched seven times, the priests blew their trumpets, the people shouted, and the walls fell flat.
