The Bible speaks of two kinds of peace: peace with God (reconciliation through Christ's death, Romans 5:1) and the peace of God (inner tranquillity despite circumstances, Philippians 4:7). Jesus said 'Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth.' The fruit of the Spirit includes peace. Isaiah calls the Messiah the Prince of Peace.
