What "What Does the Bible Say About Justice?" Actually Means
Justice is one of God's core attributes. He is called a 'God of justice' (Isaiah 30:18) who 'loveth judgment' (Psalm 37:28). Biblical justice includes both punitive justice (consequences for wrongdoing) and restorative justice (caring for the vulnerable). God repeatedly commands His people to 'do justly' (Micah 6:8), defend the fatherless and widow (Isaiah 1:17), and not show favoritism (James 2:1-9).
