What "Can a Christian Lose Their Salvation?" Actually Means
This is one of Christianity's most debated topics. Those affirming eternal security point to Jesus' words: 'I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand' (John 10:28). Paul declares that nothing can separate believers from God's love (Romans 8:38-39) and that God will complete the work He began (Philippians 1:6). Those who caution point to warning passages (Hebrews 6:4-6, 10:26-27) and examples of apparent apostasy.
