What "Does God Exist? What Evidence Does the Bible Give?" Actually Means
While the Bible doesn't attempt to prove God's existence through philosophical arguments—it assumes it from Genesis 1:1—it does present powerful evidence. Creation declares God's glory (Psalm 19:1, Romans 1:20), making His existence 'clearly seen.' The moral law written on human hearts points to a moral Lawgiver (Romans 2:14-15). Fulfilled prophecy demonstrates supernatural knowledge. The resurrection of Jesus provides historical evidence. And the transformed lives of believers throughout history testify to God's reality. The Bible says that those who deny God's existence are willfully suppressing known truth (Romans 1:18-21). Ultimately, faith is required (Hebrews 11:6), but it is a reasonable faith supported by abundant evidence.
